Job summary

The Addison of Clermont, a Sonida Senior Living community in Clermont, FL, is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide to join our care team. You will administer resident medications as ordered by physicians and provide compassionate support under professional standards.

You will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor health indicators, and help maintain their comfort and well-being in an assisted living and memory care setting.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in the state as a Medication Aide and maintain current, active licensure.
• Current licensure must be active and unencumbered.

Responsibilities

• Set up and administer resident medications as ordered by physicians.
• Provide personal hygiene assistance (bathing, grooming, etc.).
• Assist with activities of daily living and meals.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes.

**Eligibility based on location

• You will be responsible for setting up and administering resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards of medication administration, and may supervise CNAs as directed
• Provides patients' personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths
• Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals
• Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine; recording intake and output information

Qualifications:

• Must be licensed in the state as a Medication Aide and maintain current, active, and unencumbered licensure.
