Job summary

The Jasper of Meadows Place, a Sonida Senior Living community in Meadows Place, TX, is hiring a Medication Aide to support independent living, assisted living and memory care residents. You will administer medications, assist with daily living activities, monitor residents, and cooperate with the care team to ensure safety and comfort for all residents.

This role emphasizes compassionate care, adherence to clinical standards, and collaboration with CNAs and nursing staff to maintain high-quality

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in the state as a Medication Aide and maintain current, active, and unencumbered licensure.

Responsibilities

• Set up and administer resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards of medication administration.
• Provide for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients, ambulating, turning and positioning, and providing nourishment between meals.

Eligibility based on location

• You will be responsible for setting up and administering resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards of medication administration, and may supervise CNAs as directed
• Provides patients' personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths
• Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals
• Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine; recording intake and output information

Qualifications:

• Must be licensed in the state as a Medication Aide and maintain current, active, and unencumbered licensure.
