Job summary

The Jasper of Sarasota, a Sonida Senior Living community, seeks an LPN/LVN to oversee day-to-day nursing care in an assisted living and memory care setting in Sarasota, FL. You will administer medications, monitor resident well-being, and collaborate with the nursing team to ensure high-quality care.

Qualified candidates hold an active LPN/LVN license and have at least 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in assisted living. We offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active LPN/LVN license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year experience in nursing care, preferably in assisted living.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day nursing duties for residents in an assisted living facility.
• Administer medications as ordered by physicians.
• Maintain accurate shift reports and resident charts.
• Order and restock medications and supplies as needed.
• Coordinate with nursing supervisor on resident care.

LPN/LVN Responsibilities Include

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the Assisted Living Facility
• Administer all medications as ordered by the physician
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of your shift as required
• Ensure adequate supply of medications, supplies and equipment is on hand to meet the nursing needs of residents. Report needs to the nursing supervisor
• Place phone calls to pharmacies to order prescriptions
• Pulls and prepares patient charts; performs other general office duties as required

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience required
• Must be licensed as an LPN/LVN, and must maintain current and unencumbered licensure
