Job summary

The Jasper of Sarasota is a premier retirement community in Sarasota, FL, providing assisted living and memory care services. This role supports residents by administering medications, monitoring health, and assisting with daily activities during a 3pm–11pm shift.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in STATE as a Medication Aide, and must maintain current and unencumbered licensure

Responsibilities

• Sets up and administers resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards of medication administration, and may supervise CNAs as directed
• Provides personal hygiene assistance including bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assists with transportation to bathroom; helps with showers and baths
• Assists with activities of daily living by aiding with meals, feeding, ambulating, turning and positioning, and providing fluids and nourishment
• Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; tests urine; records intake and output information

• You will be responsible for setting up and administering resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards of medication administration, and may supervise CNAs as directed

• Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals
