Job summary

Georgetowne Place in Fort Wayne, IN, is seeking a dedicated QMA to administer medications and assist residents with daily living in Independent, Assisted Living, and Memory Care settings.

You will support medication administration, resident hygiene, feeding, and mobility while monitoring vital signs and reporting changes to the care team.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in Indiana as a QMA with insulin certification.
• Experience providing medication administration and daily resident care is expected.
• Ability to monitor vital signs and assist with activities of daily living.

Responsibilities

• Set up and administer resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards.
• Provide personal hygiene assistance and daily living support.
• Assist with meals, mobility, transfers, and routine patient care.
• Monitor vitals, weight, urine tests, and track intake/output.

**Eligibility based on location

• You will be responsible for setting up and administering resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards of medication administration, and may supervise CNAs as directed
• Provides patients' personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths
• Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals
• Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine; recording intake and output information

Qualifications:

• Must be licensed in Indiana as a QMA with insulin certification, and must maintain current and unencumbered licensure
