Georgetowne Place is seeking a Licensed Medication Aide to administer resident medications and support daily living activities in a retirement community in Fort Wayne, IN. You may supervise CNAs and collaborate with the care team to ensure safety and comfort.

The role involves assisting with hygiene, meals, mobility, and monitoring vital signs, with emphasis on compassionate, resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Medication Aide in Indiana and maintain active licensure.
• Experience in Independent, Assisted Living or Memory Care settings is a plus.
• Ability to work with residents requiring daily living assistance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and administer resident medications as ordered by physicians.
• May supervise CNAs as directed by the care team.
• Provide personal hygiene assistance, including bathing and grooming.
• Assist with meals, mobility, turning, and positioning as needed.
• Monitor vital signs and weight; document intake/outtake as required.

**Eligibility based on location

• You will be responsible for setting up and administering resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards of medication administration, and may supervise CNAs as directed
• Provides patients' personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths
• Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals
• Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine; recording intake and output information

Qualifications:

• Must be licensed in the state as a Medication Aide and maintain current, active, and unencumbered licensure.
