Job summary

Western Connecticut State University is seeking a part-time University Assistant in the Nursing department. The role supports onboarding paperwork and coordination for clinical sites, with responsibilities including compliance checks and site communications. The position may be located at Waterbury or Danbury campuses, CT.

Hours: 19 per week at $20.00 per hour; in-person only. Benefits are limited and proof of citizenship or work eligibility is required, along with a background check.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Undergraduate Degree is preferred.
• Proficient experience in Blackboard, Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Check Castlebranch and ensure all students are compliant before clinical.
• Verify Team Folder/Sharepoint/Blackboard paperwork is complete before clinical start.
• Communicate with Program Coordinators and Department Chair about onboarding progress.
• Assist in securing new clinical sites and contact sites by phone or email.
• Ensure contracts are up to date and proper before student clinical entry.
• Coordinate signatures for paperwork and coordinators as needed.
