Job summary

Connecticut State Community College seeks a part-time Nursing Laboratory Educational Assistant to support undergraduate nursing students in the lab, schedule practice sessions, manage supplies, and help students develop clinical skills.

This role collaborates with faculty, mentors students, maintains inventory, stays current with nursing practice, and supports CT-CCNP policies. On-site across multiple campuses, up to 17 hours per week, continuous recruitment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing with two years of clinical nursing experience.
• Active CT license as a registered nurse.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the facilitation, implementation, and evaluation of simulation activities for nursing courses.
• Collaborate with faculty to provide consistent learning experiences and outcomes.
• Coaching students to translate theory into safe clinical practice in the lab.
• Mentor nursing students and provide feedback on assignments as needed.
• Support the clinical experience in the nursing skills laboratory.
• Maintain and manage inventory of laboratory supplies.
