Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Doctorate or Master’s degree in the discipline. Current RN licensure in Georgia. At least one earned graduate degree in nursing and at least three years of teaching experience in a nursing education program leading to initial registered nurse licensure.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in teaching college-level Nursing courses in two‑year or degree‑granting technical colleges. 3 years nursing experience in education or hospital settings. Experience in nursing simulation and curriculum development.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with faculty, staff, students, and the community and to teach in classroom and clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop certificate and associate degree curriculum; develop program and course outlines; prepare reports for ACEN/BON and program requirements.
• Teach 19 contact hours per semester in day or evening courses; deliver face‑to‑face, hybrid, and online classes to ensure retention and program completion.
• Evaluate student progress, manage budget, recruit and advise students, and maintain program accreditation and documentation.
