Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Unencumbered RN licensure and active practice eligibility.
  • 3–5 years' experience as a registered nurse.
  • Experience teaching in higher education within the past seven years.
  • Experience in supervisory roles in education and industry.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and organize the unit's work to meet college objectives.
  • Fulfill teaching and non‑teaching activities as required.
  • Evaluate performance of full‑ and part‑time faculty and staff.
  • Coordinate supplies and equipment list; obtain AVP review.
  • Prepare documentation for accreditation and licensing management.
  • Assist in program specifications and budget development.
  • Represent the department at internal and external meetings.
  • Develop educational plans for all campus locations.
  • Address student, faculty, staff, and external customer needs.
  • Promote programs to public and private organizations.
  • Lead committees and special projects as assigned.
