Job summary

Northbridge University is seeking an Associate Director of Nursing NDS at the Caguas Campus to lead the nursing program administratively and academically. You will report to Campus Nursing Direction and drive program development, accreditation readiness, and student success.

The role oversees faculty performance, course scheduling, and clinical coordination, while aligning with the institution's mission and values. Bilingual English/Spanish communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing Science with an Administration focus.
• Nurse Specialist credential.
• Valid Nurse Specialist license issued by the Board of Nursing Examiners of PR.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise operations for the Nursing program in coordination with the Nursing Director; ensure accreditation readiness.
• Develop and implement the academic program work plan and curricular portfolio.
• Coordinate with Campus staff to fulfill institutional goals and plans.
• Guide faculty through duties and responsibilities per the faculty manual.
• Evaluate faculty performance and ensure attendance, punctuality, and quality of teaching and mentoring.
• Plan course offerings and assign classes based on faculty preparation and performance.
• Schedule labs and clinical practice groups according to enrollment needs.
• Recruit faculty as needed and monitor term-end evaluations.
• Prepare reports on the general status of the Nursing program and education component.
• Ensure the Nursing program maintains required clinical cooperative agencies.
• Promote positive relations among faculty, students, and administration.
• Facilitate referrals to student support services when needed.
