Job summary

Stanbridge University is seeking an experienced and collaborative Assistant Program Director for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program. Reporting to the Program Director, this role supports program operations, faculty performance, curriculum implementation, and student outcomes.

The position emphasizes data-informed decision‑making, regulatory compliance, and continuous program improvement, with a focus on accreditation standards, student success, and a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in nursing, education, or administration.
• Active RN license in California (BRN) in good standing.
• Experience leading nursing education programs or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate daily operations of the BSN program, including student advisement and clinical education oversight.
• Partner with the Program Director to ensure alignment with program goals, priorities, and accreditation standards.
• Contribute to program evaluation and improvement through data analysis and outcome tracking.
• Support faculty recruitment, onboarding, development, and evaluation per guidelines.
• Provide guidance to faculty to ensure effective instruction and student engagement.
• Promote collaboration, accountability, and instructional excellence.
• Assist in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation aligned with BRN standards.
• Support governance processes related to curriculum updates and improvements.
• Monitor student performance and program outcomes; support strategies to improve NCLEX performance and retention.
