Job summary

Houston Methodist seeks a Nursing Professional Practice Leader (PPL) II to guide specialty nursing across a service line, advancing practice through performance improvement and learner growth. This role builds partnerships, leads specialty initiatives, and serves as a role model for NPD practice.

The PPL II champions evidence-based care, mentoring staff, and orchestrating interdisciplinary collaboration at the entity and system levels to elevate patient outcomes and professional development.

Qualifications

• RN - Texas license is required (Texas Board of Nursing_PSV Compact) and must obtain permanent Texas license within 60 days
• BLS certification (AHA) required and Instructor preferred
• NPD-BC certification preferred or must obtain within 1 year of appointment

• Builds collaborative partnerships to drive professional development initiatives
