Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network in the Lehigh Valley region seeks a Manager Nursing and Patient Care Services to provide 24/7 operational leadership for a defined unit. You will translate strategy into daily practice through effective management of staffing, clinical operations, patient experience, quality outcomes, and fiscal performance at the unit level.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
3 years experience in similar unit.
BLS - Basic Life Support via American Heart Association Upon Hire; RN license PA/NJ Upon Hire.

Responsibilities

Provides direct 24/7 operational leadership for a defined clinical unit.
Supervises frontline staff; manages daily staffing and patient care operations.
Implements organizational policies and strategic initiatives at unit level.
Monitors unit performance metrics: quality, safety, patient experience, workforce engagement.
Manages unit budget performance and resource utilization.
Ensures regulatory and accreditation standards compliance.
Coaches staff to support professional growth and retention.
Identifies issues and escalates to Director as needed.
