Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is seeking a Manager of Nursing and Patient Care Services to provide 24/7 operational leadership for a defined clinical unit. You will supervise frontline staff, manage staffing and patient care operations, and translate strategy into daily practice with a focus on safety, quality and engagement.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Nursing with 3 years in a similar unit, BLS, and PA/NJ RN licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
• 3 years of experience in a similar unit.
• BLS certification and AHA/CPR training on hire or upon start date.
• RN license in PA, NJ, or multi-state as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provides 24/7 operational leadership for a defined clinical unit.
• Supervises frontline staff and manages daily staffing and patient care operations.
• Implements organizational policies and strategic initiatives at the unit level.
• Monitors quality, safety, patient experience, and workforce engagement metrics.
• Manages unit budget and resource utilization within financial targets.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and supports professional development.
