La Salle University invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor, Undergraduate Nursing and Director, Pathway to Practice (Non-Tenure Track). This 9-month faculty appointment includes a 12-month administrative role as Director.

The role focuses on student success, licensure readiness, and structured academic coaching to strengthen clinical judgment and NCLEX readiness. The position requires a Doctoral degree in nursing, PA RN license, and experience in nursing education and

Qualifications

Doctoral degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
Current registered nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or multistate license.
Experience in nursing education, academic coaching, student advising, and/or curriculum support.
Demonstrated knowledge of NCLEX-RN frameworks, clinical judgment models, and evidence-based instructional strategies.
Experience using student performance data to inform academic interventions.
Knowledge of and commitment to the mission of La Salle University.

Responsibilities

Teach in the BSN day and BSN achieve programs.
Lead and coordinate a faculty development initiative for five faculty members to support the Director.
Organize workshops and review course/assessment data with faculty partners.
Coordinate student success initiatives, licensure readiness, and progression.
Participate in program evaluation, reporting, and accreditation initiatives.
