Job summary

La Salle University in Philadelphia seeks a Chair and Associate Professor for the Graduate Nursing program (Non-Tenure Track). The role includes a 9-month faculty appointment with a 12-month administrative Chair appointment.

Rank will be Assistant or Associate based on credentials, with leadership across teaching, research, and student mentorship. The candidate will guide curriculum, participate in committees, and collaborate across the SONHS and university.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in nursing or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in higher education program oversight or leadership.
• Evidence of scholarship beyond the doctoral dissertation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Chair of the Graduate Nursing Program and as a 12-month administrative leader.
• Direct program development, curriculum oversight, and accreditation interactions.
