Job summary

Astrya Global Medical Staffing is recruiting an operating room nurse for a 13-week assignment in Atlantic, Iowa. The role is in a surgical environment with a schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, five days per week, with extension potential based on need and performance.

Pay is $62–$67 per hour, with benefits including health insurance options, retirement plan, and credentialing support to assist with travel assignments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care to patients undergoing operative or other invasive procedures
• Address the psychological needs of surgical patients and their support persons
• Address the socio-cultural needs of surgical patients and their support persons
• Provide education to surgical patients and their support persons
• Initiate patient care from the time the patient is informed they need an operative or invasive procedure
• Continue patient care through the procedural process until the patient returns to their usual roles and responsibilities
