Avina of Weyauwega in Wisconsin is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (RN preferred) to help plan, organize, develop and direct the Nursing Department in alignment with federal, state and local standards, with the goal of training into the Director of Nursing role.

The position involves leading the interdisciplinary team, supervising RNs/LPNs/CNAs, coordinating care plans, participating in QAPI activities, and ensuring safe, high-quality resident care throughout the facility.

Responsibilities

• Develops and directs the facility’s Nursing Program.
• Consults with the interdisciplinary team on restorative care standards.
• Ensures compliance with applicable laws and standards.
• Participates in admission and discharge planning.
• Oversees staffing and performance reviews.
• Performs floor nursing duties when needed.
• Supports infection control and safety practices.
