Job summary

Buckeye Care and Rehabilitation seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to partner with the Director of Nursing in Lancaster, OH. This role coordinates quality initiatives, regulatory readiness, and day-to-day nursing operations while promoting resident care quality and clinical excellence.

The ADON supports staff accountability, assists with staffing and scheduling, and serves as the Director's designee during absences, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for facility goals.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Ohio RN license.
• Long-term care leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CMS regulations and regulatory readiness.
• Familiarity with PointClickCare software is a plus.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily nursing operations and lead nursing staff.
• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing personnel and leadership teams.
• Support staffing, scheduling, and operational problem-solving.
• Coordinate QAPI activities and regulatory compliance.
• Review clinical documentation for accuracy and regulatory adherence.
• Maintain organized records and reporting for leadership.
• Participate in on-call rotations and after-hours leadership.
