Job summary

Health Partners of Western Ohio is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to partner with the Director of Nursing and oversee licensed and non-licensed nursing staff across our sites in Ohio. The ADON will help plan, develop, and supervise clinical operations while promoting patient safety and service quality.

The ideal candidate holds a nursing degree, is licensed in Ohio (RN or LPN), and has leadership experience. Travel is required to support across regional sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in nursing preferred.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in Ohio.
• In-house training completed.
• Experience in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide training to support staff to meet job duty goals.
• Supervise and guide support staff on their daily job duties.
• Manage clinical operations at each site in that region.
• Ensure support staff follow departmental procedures and policies.
• Conduct weekly site visits to each location in their region.
• Evaluate the performance of the support staff and recommend improvements.
• Lead, mentor, engage and develop teams to maximize their contributions.
• Assist in the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the medical department.
• Assist with the development and implementation of nursing services, objectives, and policies and procedures in accordance with Federal and State regulations.
