Splendido, a luxury senior living community in Oro Valley, AZ, seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead a team of RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and dual-certified staff in a person-centered care model.

In this full-time role, you will oversee nursing operations, drive quality improvement, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor staff while maintaining compassionate, resident-focused care. The ADON will collaborate across departments and participate in care planning and education.

Qualifications

• Current State RN license.
• Experience in nursing leadership; CPR/AED certification.

Responsibilities

• Follows policies to stay compliant with local, state, and federal standards.
• Leads quality assessment and performance improvement initiatives.
• Oversees nursing operations and staffing to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Documents care per policy and participates in care plan meetings.
• Supports licensing, survey readiness, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentors RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and dual-certified staff.
• Communicates with residents and families in a timely manner.
