Job summary

Villa Healthcare is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) at Willow Place to lead the nursing team and uphold quality patient care in collaboration with the DON and Administrator. The role involves staffing, budgeting, and implementing development programs to enhance care and outcomes.

The ideal candidate has an active RN license, CPR certification, and 3+ years of nursing leadership experience, with preference for ADON background.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN license with the state required.
• Prefer previous nursing and leadership experience of at least three years; ADON preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage nursing staff ensuring regulatory compliance and quality care.
• Assist DON with daily management, scheduling, and policy enforcement.
• Participate in admissions planning and resident care planning with physicians and administrators.
• Ensure physician visits, equipment, supplies, and staffing are adequate for resident care.
• Prepare and monitor nursing department budget; provide budget input for staffing and equipment.
• Collaborate on staff development programs to improve patient outcomes.
