Job summary

Journey is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to act as a clinical operations liaison between units and the Director of Nursing. The ADON will oversee daily nursing operations, ensure compliance with center policies, mentor staff, and coordinate care delivery with other departments to support resident well-being.

Qualified candidates hold an active RN license with supervisory experience, BSN preferred, and current BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

Active RN license with minimum three years of nursing experience, including at least one year in a supervisory role.
BSN preferred, with proven skills in organizing and managing nursing services and personnel.
Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English, with clerical ability to analyze reports and data.
Current BLS/CPR certification as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

Nursing Department Leadership: Support the Director of Nursing in staffing, scheduling, and enforcing policies.
Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure regulatory compliance, participate in chart audits, and oversee infection control, care planning, and CQI initiatives.
Staff Development and Oversight: Participate in hiring, training, and performance reviews while promoting professional growth and consistent, high-quality care.
