Job summary

MediLodge of Westwood is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) with RN licensure to support the Director of Nursing, supervise nursing staff, and ensure high-quality resident care in a long-term care setting. The ADON will participate in budget planning, staff development, and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with departments, and proactive problem solving to uphold MediLodge standards and improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.
• RN license in the state employed preferred.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Acts as liaison between nursing units, admissions, and the DON.
• Plans and facilitates meetings and committees to address resident care issues.
• Monitor weekly and monthly weights.
• Monitors and evaluates nursing staff and recommends training or work modification to the DON.
• Represents the DON at meetings and in the community.
