Job summary

Avera Maryhouse in Pierre, SD is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to oversee the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) and Infection Control programs. You will coordinate safety, security, and occupational health, while supporting a multidisciplinary team and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Lead staff, participate in committees, and promote Resident Rights and EMR utilization. The role requires strong communication, supervision, and adherence to federal, state, and system

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse in practicing state with active license.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others and assess needs.
• Experience with quality improvement and infection control basics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Quality Assurance Performance Improvement and Infection Control programs.
• Coordinate safety, security and occupational health initiatives.
• Assist DON with staff supervision and performance evaluations.
• Lead committees and ensure regulatory compliance and DOH reporting.
• Maintain and promote Resident Rights and EMR utilization.
