Job summary

DESERTWILLOW is seeking an experienced QA professional (RN or LVN) with 3+ years in Long Term Care to lead quality assurance, QAPI, and infection control initiatives. The role requires collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, data-driven reporting, and ongoing education for staff.

The position emphasizes adherence to regulatory standards, reporting, and continuous improvement in resident care quality. Travel and facility-specific meetings may be involved as part of the QAPI program.

Qualifications

• RN or LVN required with 3 years Long Term Care experience.
• Specialized training in QAPI or QAPI Certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct QA programs and activities.
• Monitor trends and prepare quality reports for the QAPI committee.
• Collaborate with IDT to provide education and training.
• Oversee infection control program and report communicable diseases.
• Attend facility in-service training and ensure confidentiality.
