Job summary

UK King's Daughters in Ashland, Kentucky seeks an experienced Nursing Leader to coordinate staffing, admissions, and bed assignments. You will provide clinical leadership to support staff and ensure high-quality patient care, while ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include directing daily nursing operations, staff scheduling, and collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient flow and outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN license required and active.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher preferred.
• 0–4 years of nursing-related experience; paid experience only.
• Part-time and PRN experience prorated based on hours worked per week.
• Experience with regulatory standards and quality improvement is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Leads and directs nursing staff in daily operations and maintains a positive work environment.
• Coordinates staffing, scheduling, and coverage to ensure patient care and budget adherence.
• Performs nursing skills and procedures per standards, providing direct care as needed.
• Develops education programs to enhance professional growth and competency.
