Job summary

Oakmont Healthcare is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to lead clinical operations, support staff, and ensure high-quality resident care. In this role you will collaborate across teams to implement care plans, monitor regulatory compliance, and promote a restorative care philosophy.

You will oversee MDS, care planning, infection control, and Performance Improvement initiatives, while coaching nursing staff, managing budgets, and maintaining accurate documentation to support

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• Strong leadership and management experience in a healthcare setting.
• Background in geriatric or long-term care nursing.
• Restorative care philosophy with strong assessment and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Support staffing needs by stepping in to assist floor staffing when needed.
• Oversee resident care including MDS, care planning, PI, and infection control programs.
• Manage nursing staff: hire, train, evaluate, assign, and delegate duties.
• Ensure accurate documentation and up-to-date resident records.
• Develop individualized care plans with physicians and nursing teams.
• Ensure timely access to equipment, supplies, and other care resources; uphold infection control.
