Job summary

Avera is seeking an onboarding and scheduling specialist in Yankton to support daily nursing operations. You will manage recruitment, new hire orientation, and end-to-end onboarding for RN, LPN, and CNA staff to ensure smooth starts and compliant certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; CNA certification within 1 year.
• Healthcare or office experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end onboarding for new hires, including orientation and scheduling.
• Coordinate daily nursing team scheduling and coverage.
• Maintain policies and checklists for onboarding across job roles (RN/LPN/CNA).
• Support recruitment activities and track open positions and turnover data.
