Job summary

Hillcrest Hospital Cushing, in Oklahoma, part of Ardent Health Services, is seeking a day shift, full-time Surgery (OR) Nursing Manager to lead the OR nursing team, champion patient safety, and elevate the standard of perioperative care.

The role partners with hospital leadership on budgeting, workforce planning, and program development to deliver efficient, high-quality surgical services, while fostering a supportive, inclusive culture for staff and patients.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Three (3) years of RN experience.
• Oklahoma or applicable Multi-state RN license upon hire.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role.
• ACLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• PALS certification within 30 days of hire.

• The nurse manager will promote the mission and values of the organization and be an active advocate of providing quality patient care, excellent customer service and efficient health care.
• As a member of the management team, the nurse manager will be involved in system planning, budgeting, manpower planning and program development in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care.

• Hillcrest Hospital Cushing is a 99-bed community-owned facility offering a variety of services for patients of all ages in the Cushing, Oklahoma area. The hospital offers 24-hour emergency services, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, diagnostic imaging, orthopedics, neurosurgery, urology and more. We also offer inpatient behavioral health care to adults experiencing amental health crisis by offering a fully staffed team of licensed professionals, personalized treatment plans and continued support after being discharged.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Three (3) years of experience as an RN
• Oklahoma or applicable Multi-state RN license upon hire
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certified within 30 days of hire
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certified within 30 days of hire
