Job summary

CHI Memorial Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Nursing Manager to lead and empower our nursing team, focusing on patient-centered care, professional development, and operational excellence across the unit.

You will mentor RNs, supervise clinical operations, ensure compliance with Joint Commission and life safety standards, and drive recruitment and retention strategies while fostering collaboration with all departments.

Qualifications

• Current RN license to practice in the state
• BSN required from an accredited program within 9 months of hire
• Minimum of 3 years leadership experience OR 5 years leadership in the discipline OR Master’s Degree and no experience
• Two years in charge or leadership position within last five years in a hospital setting; five years nursing experience
• BLS required; ACLS within 6 months
• Specialty certification required within 6 months
• Additional certification or licensure may be required for some specialty areas

Responsibilities

• Identify and participate in establishing nursing and ancillary staff development programs
• Establish and monitor competencies for all patient care staff
• Maintain high physician satisfaction for services provided
• Develop and implement nurse recruitment and retention plans
• Collaborate with all departments to maintain high patient satisfaction
• Meet regulatory standards including Joint Commission and life safety requirements
