Job summary

The role requires Georgia RN licensure, BSN/MSN, 3–5 years RN experience (1 year supervision), and professional certification within 2 years of hire.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia. Professional certification in a clinical or leadership specialty within two years of hire.
• Degree in Nursing (BSN or MSN).
• Three to five years as an RN, with one year direct supervision of healthcare delivery if leadership experience outside nursing.
• Professional organization membership within one month of hire.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitors quality of care on the unit, with performance improvement and risk management activities.
• Creates a customer-centric service program and conducts unit rounds with Charge Nurses.
• Coaches and evaluates staff, ensuring competency, licensure, certifications, and annual training.
• Coordinates communication between unit staff and physicians for appropriate care and outcome planning.
• Schedules work assignments, sets priorities, and directs subordinate staff to meet goals.
• Maintains regular contact with nursing staff and participates in budget and resource planning.
