Job summary

The Waterford at Levis Commons, a Sonida Senior Living community in Perrysburg, OH, is hiring a licensed practical nurse/licensed vocational nurse (LPN/LVN) for full-time shifts in an independent living, assisted living, memory care setting.

Responsibilities include directing day-to-day nursing aide activities, administering medications, and maintaining resident charts, with a focus on quality care and resident wellbeing. Requires current LPN/LVN license and at least 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an LPN/LVN, and must maintain current and unencumbered licensure.
• Minimum 1 year experience required.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with rules and guidelines governing the facility.
• Administer all medications as ordered by the physician.
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning shift activities.
• Ensure adequate supply of medications and equipment to meet resident needs; report needs to nursing supervisor.
• Place calls to pharmacies to order prescriptions; assist with charting and records.

LPN/LVN Responsibilities Include

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the Assisted Living Facility
• Administer all medications as ordered by the physician
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of your shift as required
• Ensure adequate supply of medications, supplies and equipment is on hand to meet the nursing needs of residents. Report needs to the nursing supervisor
• Place phone calls to pharmacies to order prescriptions
• Pulls and prepares patient charts; performs other general office duties as required
