Job summary

The Waterford at Levis Commons, a Sonida Senior Living community in Perrysburg, OH, is seeking a compassionate Nursing Aide to support residents with daily living activities, meals, and mobility. You will work closely with a care team to promote independence and dignity.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Preferred knowledge and experience in nursing or senior living, home health, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Assists with activities of daily living and medications, encouraging independence.
• Escort residents within the building and outside as needed.
• Assist with setting up, serving meals and cleaning up after meals.
• Plan and help execute resident activities on a regular basis.
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times.

Nursing Aid Responsibilities Include

• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, assistance with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence
• Escorts residents both within the building and outside, as needed
• Assists with setting up, serving meals and cleaning up afterwards
• May assist with the planning and executing of activities for residents on a regularly scheduled basis
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times
