Job summary

Messiah Lifeways is seeking a licensed Practical Nurse for a part-time night shift (6:45pm–7:15am) at our Mechanicsburg, PA location. You will oversee nursing staff, ensure care quality, coordinate schedules, and maintain a positive resident environment while communicating effectively with families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate has PA LPN licensure, strong teamwork, and experience with electronic health records.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered PA LPN license.
• 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Cooperate in providing a safe and pleasant environment and maintain high morale for residents and staff.
• Initiate disciplinary procedures as needed for staff.
• Establish and maintain effective interdepartmental relationships and promote guest relations.
• Arrange scheduling of appointments and transportation of residents to other departments or outside appointments.
• Observe and evaluate residents' symptoms and ensure families and physicians are updated and that physician orders are followed.
• Plan, implement, and see to completion the resident’s plan of care.
