Job summary

Messiah Lifeways in Mechanicsburg, PA is seeking a part-time Night Shift Charge Nurse to join our Enhanced Living team serving adults 55+. You’ll lead the Neighborhood Care Team, administer medications, and monitor resident health with a focus on compassionate, person-centered care.

The role requires an active PA LPN or RN license, prior Gerontology or long-term care experience, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available to qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Must hold active PA LPN or RN license.
• Gerontology or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Neighborhood Care Team.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately.
• Assess and monitor resident health; communicate changes promptly.
• Delegate daily assignments and ensure quality, person-centered care.
• Mentor CNAs, PCAs, and team members.
• Collaborate on individualized care plans.
• Ensure regulatory and HIPAA compliance.
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends/holidays.

Qualifications
