Job summary

Messiah Lifeways in Mechanicsburg, PA is seeking a part-time Charge Nurse for the Enhanced Living (Personal Care) team. The role supports the Neighborhood Care Team, administers medications, assesses resident health, and ensures person-centered care across shifts, including evenings and holidays.

Qualified applicants will be graduates of an approved RN program with an active PA license. Prior gerontology or long-term care experience is preferred, and you will mentor CNAs and collaborate on

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved LPN or RN program.
• Active, unencumbered PA LPN or RN license.
• Prior experience in Gerontology or Long Term Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Neighborhood Care Team
• Administer medications and treatments accurately
• Assess and monitor resident health; communicate changes promptly
• Delegate daily assignments and ensure quality, person‑centered care
• Mentor CNAs, PCAs, and team members
• Collaborate on individualized care plans
• Ensure regulatory and HIPAA compliance
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends/holidays
