Brigham Young University (BYU) is seeking a part-time RN for the Nursing Learning Center to teach ICU nursing skills and facilitate ICU simulations in a supportive educational environment.

The role involves ensuring supplies, following lesson plans, and contributing to hands-on learning that develops future nursing professionals while aligning with BYU’s mission and values.

Qualificações

• Required: A firm commitment to the mission of BYU
• RN experience of at least 3 years
• Must have basic computer skills, problem solving, and adaptability, plus current AHA BLS and Utah RN License

• Ensure all necessary supplies are available to meet learning objectives and facilitate effective instruction.

The Nursing Learning Center Skills/RN has the opportunity to develop the next generation of nursing professionals through hands on learning experiences such as simulation-based learning and targeted skills instruction in a supportive and dynamic educational environment.

What you’ll do in this position:

• Teach intensive care unit-specific nursing skills.
• Facilitate realistic ICU patient simulations for advanced practice.
• Ensure all necessary supplies are available to meet learning objectives and facilitate effective instruction.
• Adhere to structured lesson plans to ensure the delivery of consistent and thorough content.

What qualifies you for this role:

• Required A firm commitment to the mission of BYU Baccalaureate in Nursing from Accredited Institution.
• At least 3 year of RN experience.
• Comfortable with basic computer skills Problem solving skills Ability to adapt in new situations Current AHA BLS Certification Current Utah RN License

Additional Comments: The employee should have a caring and positive attitude that will help students learn to love nursing and become competent nurses.

Pay Grade: 52 Typical Starting Pay: $32.00 to $41.75 an hour
