Job summary

Maplewood Brewster LLC in Brewster, MA is seeking a Resident Services Designee (Assistant Director of Nursing) to support the Resident Service Director in administering nursing services within the wellness department. Coordinate professional and auxiliary staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to high-quality resident care and care planning.

Responsibilities include overseeing medication delivery, conducting assessments, coordinating transitions of care, and training staff.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse, licensed to practice in the state.
• Experience in Assisted Living, Home Health, Skilled Nursing and/or retirement center.
• Experience in supervisory role and able to lead.

Responsibilities

• Ensures clinical services are delivered in accordance with state regulations, accepted clinical standards, agency policies, and community procedures.
• Provides direct nursing care, including health assessments, resident teaching, wellness counseling, health promotion, and disease prevention.
• Delivers care and services to residents with chronic and stable conditions, supporting activities of daily living.
• Verifies medication regimens with physicians or healthcare practitioners for residents requiring supervision.
• Maintains awareness of federal and state regulations regarding assisted living/memory care and the state nursing commission’s standards.
• Leads and manages the delivery of nursing and personal care services for residents, ensuring excellence in care and adherence to clinical standards.
