Job summary

Maplewood at Orange LLC in Orange, CT is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (RN Designee). This full-time role supports the Resident Services Director and leads nursing staff to deliver compassionate, compliant resident care.

You must hold a CT RN license with at least one year in assisted living or home care, and you will oversee medication delivery and staff training while fostering teamwork and independence for residents.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse licensed to practice in Connecticut.
• Minimum one year experience in assisted living or home care.
• Ability to maintain positive working relationships with residents, families, peers, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Resident Services Director (Director of Nursing) in the administration of the nursing services.
• Directs, plans, and coordinates services with professional and auxiliary nursing personnel in rendering resident care.
• Interprets policy and regulations to all nursing personnel and ensures compliance.
• Analyzes and evaluates nursing and related services to ensure quality of resident care.
• Oversees the overall medication delivery system and coordination of in-service training for Resident Care Departments.
• Contributes to the team approach to quality resident care by supporting residents' physical, emotional and social needs.
