Beecan Health in Iowa (West Des Moines) seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing to support leadership and operational management of our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in nursing management, education administration, and team leadership to deliver exceptional patient care and foster a collaborative work environment.

As ADON, you will oversee nursing staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to strategic planning and budgeting to enhance service

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved Registered Nurse program.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and standards to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Support strategic planning efforts aimed at improving clinical outcomes and operational efficiency within the nursing department.
• Participate in budgeting processes, monitor expenditures, and optimize resource allocation to maintain financial sustainability.
• Lead and manage nursing teams by providing mentorship, supervision, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
• Oversee personnel management activities including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and safety protocols across all nursing operations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote effective communication, instructional leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and excellence in patient care delivery.
