Skyline Nursing and Rehabilitation in Floyd, VA is seeking a qualified Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead our nursing team. The RN must show strong leadership and a commitment to exceptional resident care.

As ADON you will mentor staff, help develop education programs, monitor compliance with policies and regulations, and ensure accurate documentation. This full-time role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities to advance within a compassionate senior care

Qualifications

Active RN license in good standing.
RN degree from an accredited college/university.
Current CPR certification.
3+ years nursing experience in a similar setting.
At least 1 year of management experience.
Knowledge of local, state and federal nursing home regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide ongoing education, mentorship and leadership development for clinical staff.
Help develop nursing department goals and educational programs.
Assist in policy implementation and regulatory compliance.
Recruit, hire, and retain qualified nursing staff per staffing plans.
Collaborate with department heads to foster interdepartmental relations.
Support documentation systems and ensure accurate records.
Deliver direct resident care when needed and foster positive interactions.
Introduce innovations to improve care outcomes.
