Qualifications

• Valid RN license in good standing with Iowa eligibility.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations.
• Desire to learn and grow within a quality clinical team.
• Strong empathy, respect, patience, and discretion in care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the DON in planning, organizing, and directing the nursing department, with growth opportunities within the organization.
• Conduct regular rounds to monitor care delivery and propose solutions to concerns.
• Enforce policies and guide the team to foster growth and high-quality care.
• Support and coach RNs to promote teamwork and exceptional care.
• Manage administrative functions to enhance department efficiency and future growth.
• Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs.
• Document care to meet clinical and facility standards.
• Follow infection control, safety, and compliance protocols at all times.
• Participate in an on-call rotation with other leadership team members.
