Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of clinical management in a skilled nursing facility.
• Understanding of OBRA and OSHA regulations and resident assessments.
• Experience in human resources tasks including interviews, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
• Ability to design and implement systems for workflow, scheduling and quality indicators.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and manages scheduled staff to ensure adequate coverage.
• Evaluates quality and outcomes of nursing functions.
• Trains and supervises staff to meet resident care standards.
• Enforces regulatory requirements and institutes corrective actions as needed.
• Leads committees and participates in HR activities related to staff actions.
• Responds to emergencies and incidents involving residents and facilities.
