Job summary

Hidden Creek Recovery & Retreat is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in Tallapoosa, GA to lead the nursing department and support daily operations under the Director of Nursing.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional nursing experience.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to provide clinical guidance and make decisions in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Comfortable providing direct patient care in addition to leadership responsibilities.
• Experience with multi-disciplinary collaboration and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily nursing department operations under the Director of Nursing.
• Supervise and support nursing staff; coordinate scheduling and workflow.
• Onboard, train, and develop nursing team.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and high-quality patient care.
• Provide direct patient care when needed and support clinical emergencies.
• Ensure nursing documentation is accurate and timely.
