Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare in El Paso, TX is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to lead resident care and regulatory compliance. This leadership role ensures quality care, staff support, and seamless operations in a busy nursing center.

You will support staffing, oversee care plans, contribute to MDS and infection control, supervise nursing staff, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with physicians and consultants to elevate restorative care for residents.

Qualifications

Must be licensed nurse in good standing with State Board of Nursing.
Strong leadership and management experience.
Background in geriatric or long-term care nursing.
Restorative care philosophy with strong assessment and communication skills.
Working knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

Support staffing needs and step in to assist floor staffing when needed.
Oversee resident care, contribute to MDS, care planning, performance improvement and infection control programs.
Manage nursing staff: hire, train, evaluate, assign, and delegate nursing duties based on census and budget needs.
Ensure accurate documentation and up-to-date resident records.
Develop care plans in collaboration with physicians and nursing teams.
Ensure access to equipment, supplies, and other care resources.
Uphold infection control measures through assessments and implementation.
