Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree preferred, OR an associate degree with a teaching credential or equivalent nursing teaching experience within the last 5 years.
• Current California RN or LVN license is required.
• Minimum of 2 years' RN or LVN experience within the last 5 years.
• Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret materials; communicate effectively with students and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and deliver curriculum aligned with program goals and accreditation requirements.
• Provide student advising, tutoring, and office hours to support learning and career development.
• Regularly assess learning outcomes and contribute to program improvement efforts.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student success and program growth.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and institutional policies.

Education

Baccalaureate degree preferred

Associate degree with teaching credential or equivalent nursing teaching experience

Current CA RN or LVN license

Minimum of 2 years' nursing experience (RN or LVN) in last 5 years
