Gateway Community and Technical College seeks a qualified Nursing instructor to join our Health Professions team. The full-time faculty will deliver lectures, labs, and assessments for the Associate Degree Nursing program, participate in curriculum development, and support student recruitment and retention.

The position is a 10-month contract with a 37.5-hour work week and a discretionary hybrid work location.

Qualificações

• BSN with 18 hours graduate work or BSN with commitment to MSN within five years.
• State board of nursing approved professional education program.
• Minimum two years RN direct patient care in last five years.
• Current KY RN license.
• Experience in classroom teaching, curriculum design, and use of technology.
• Proficiency with MS Office and LMS (Blackboard/Canvas).
• Ability to engage diverse student populations and adapt to fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver lectures, labs, and assessments to Nursing students.
• Design and update course syllabi; participate in curriculum review.
• Incorporate instructional technology and interactive learning methods.
• Support the college mission and participate in committees.
• Provide supplemental teaching in clinical labs each semester.
• Recruit students and monitor retention.
• Provide quality service to students, faculty, and staff.
• Participate in faculty committees and other duties as assigned.
