Job summary

Central New Mexico Community College (CNM) is seeking a full-time Nursing faculty member to deliver high-quality instruction and maintain an engaging learning environment for diverse student populations. The role includes college service beyond teaching to support CNM’s mission and student success.

Minimum qualifications include an earned Master’s in Nursing (or anticipated by 12/31/2026), an active RN license in NM or a eligible NM license, and at least two years of recent clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Conferred Master's Degree or higher in Nursing OR anticipated conferral of Master's Degree or higher in Nursing by December 31, 2026.
• Current unrestricted/ unencumbered RN license, NM/Compact license or eligible for NM licensure (if from a noncompact state) – Please include your license number on your resume.
• Two (2) years of recent clinical experience.
• Previous teaching experience or formal management training.

Responsibilities

• Effectively prepare, teach, grade, and assess student learning in courses assigned.
• Contribute to program and course outcomes; update and revise curriculum to maintain currency.
• Participate in college/service activities such as committees and student recruitment.
